About Me

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Seattle University, and I am currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Washington. As an intern therapist through the UW, I'm excited to be learning more about the most robust treatments for complex mental health concerns affecting teens today. I receive training and supervision through my program at the UW, as well as from other Sequoia staff members.

Before starting my graduate training, I worked as a client services coordinator at a local treatment center, where I conducted screening interviews and assisted individuals and families in finding care. After almost 4 years in that position, I knew that my next step needed to be furthering my education so that I could support queer and trans teens and families as they navigate their mental health needs in an ever-changing world.

My practice is rooted in the belief that the client-therapist relationship is the most powerful force in the therapy room and is informed by each of our unique lived experiences. My goal is to approach our work together with humility and curiosity, and to create a safe and welcoming space for you to explore all your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

As a queer and trans person, I find immense joy and meaning in being alongside others as they explore their own identities. I recognize that it can be a vulnerable process, and I appreciate how impactful it can be to work with a provider who has overlapping experiences and identities.

Outside of work, you can find me birdwatching throughout the greater Seattle area, thrifting, and scoping out my new favorite coffee shops. I also enjoy tending to my farm in Stardew Valley, attempting new art projects, and spending quality time with my partner and our six pets.
